Pale light, formed of mixed moon and starlight, painted the land. A chill breeze ruffled the dark grass and the soothing sound of singing crickets filled the night air. On clear nights such as these, with the moon showing her full glory, no-one dared step out into her gaze. A hungry wolf, or something very much like one, watched with amber eyes as a dark shape sped across the landscape on tracks of iron. Losing interest and focusing its attention towards more urgent matters, namely the filling of its empty stomach, the creature turned and slinked off into the wilderness. Yet the vehicle sped on
